The samoyed coat is hypoallergenic and in addition is free from unpleasant doggy odor.

Samoyed hair is very soft to the touch, resistant and is even warmer and more durable that sheep’s wool.

The hair is collected by combing the dog’s coat during it’s shedding period. Then it is carded, spun on a centennial spinning wheel, dyed the desired colors and finally knitted or crocheted into a useful clothing article. The whole process is done by hand at our home.
